We are pleased to announce that the Department of French and Italian now offers a minimum yearly graduate student stipend of $31,000.

Decisions on admission and merit awards are based on all available information including GRE scores (Graduate Test Package #1), undergraduate record, letters of recommendation, statement of purpose, and an extensive writing sample to be submitted with the application.  Additionally finalists for admission will be interviewed.
