Joslyn GardnerPhD StudentFrench


Joslyn Gardner is a first-year PhD student in the department of French and Italian at Emory University. Her research interests include sites of toxicity from administrative and literary archives to the chlordécone poisoning in Martinique and Guadeloupe, Francophone African and Caribbean Literature, Black Feminist Theory, and reimaginations of freedom. She plans to pursue a certificate in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
