Angela Porcarelli, Lecturer (Ph.D. in Italian Literature, Indiana University, 2012): elementary and intermediate Italian language; Italian literature and culture; Italian cinema. Research interests: Medieval and Renaissance literature; theories and literary expressions of comedy, with a particular focus on the genre of the beffa. Modern Italian literature and cinema (Italo Calvino, Umberto Eco, Federico Fellini and Pier Paolo Pasolini); second language acquisition and technology.
