Biography

 

Bilel Ben Asker is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of French and Italian at Emory University. He holds a master’s degree in modern French literature from the Higher Institute of Languages of Tunis. Thus far, he has worked on the question of « reparation » in Maylis de Kerangal’s novel Réparer les vivants. His research interests include literature of « l’extrême contemporain » and the Maghreb.
