Biography
Vincent Bornert is a third year PhD student in the department of French and Italian at Emory University. He specialized in film studies, theories of adaptation and intermediality, working on the intersection between literature and cinema. He is currently interested in Francophone movies about the French banlieues, especially from the African diaspora. His research interests include literatures and cinemas of resistance, deconstruction and francophonie.
