Lindsey MeyerPhD CandidateFrench

Biography

Lindsey Meyer is a fourth year PhD candidate in the department of French and Italian at Emory University. She holds a B.A. (Summa Cum Laude) in French and Philosophy from Wesleyan College. Her research interests include 18th and 20th century philosophy, comparative theories of freedom in French and Francophone thought, anti-colonialism, contemporary Haitian literature, and literary representations of the Haitian and French Revolutions. Lindsey is also pursuing a certificate in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
