Biography
Calvin Osei Tenkorang is a first-year Ph.D. student at the Department of French and Italian at Emory University. He holds an MA in French and francophone Studies from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. His research focuses on the intersections of post-colonial theory, care ethics, and socio-political upheavals especially in the Sahel region, exploring the historical and present-day dynamics between the Global South and North. Calvin’s evolving interests include exploring themes of migration, resistance, and transnational solidarity, while also investigating cultural and ecological narratives within post-colonial contexts.
