The Emory French Department is truly one of a kind. My freshman year I took French classes to fulfill the language graduation requirement, but after taking some amazing courses and meeting amazing faculty like Dr. Dana I was inspired to pursue a French major. I became a French EPASS tutor and was a part of the executive board for the Emory Francophone Club. As an upperclassman I had the privilege of finishing off my French studies with Dr. Nouvet as my capstone project advisor. Now, I will be applying to medical school, and I hope to use my French background to one day work for Médecins Sans Frontières.
